Designing and building takes a considerable amount of time, planning, and hard work. Our goal is to take an overwhelming process and make it as organized, efficient, and painless as possible – to communicate and solve problems when (not if) they happen.

Our Story
Since 2001, Timberlake Custom Homes has been desiging and building beautifully crafted homes that complement the natural surroundings. Owner, Chip Shively, has worked in the construction industry for more than 38 years (20+ years in this area), and he holds a contractor’s license in Georgia and North Carolina.
As a group, we have accumulated over 100 years of experience in design and building. Our team is a collection of talent, ideas, passion, and admiration for each other and our clients. We push every day to bring the best in the industry.
We live in the Blue Ridge Mountains, we love the Blue Ridge Mountains, and we welcome you to this beautiful area!
